iO is a thesis team project for my master's in a design engineering program at Brown University and Rhode Island School of Design. We designed a smart desk lamp and developed a sustainable system that utilizes AI assistance technology to encourage the early stages of the Alzheimer's disease community through independent care, family, and friend support.

According to the Alzheimer's Association, 8 in 10 people in the population risk getting Alzheimer’s by the age of 85. Handwriting has been scientifically proven to strengthen brain connectivity, thereby delaying the onset of Alzheimer's. iO is a wellness product that harnesses the power of AI to support and enhance your memory health. Designed as an AI-scanning lamp, iO captures precious memories and guides you through healthy routines, seamlessly integrating technology into your daily life for a brighter, more connected future.
